30 Mar Ceremony Seating Ideas

This past weekend I had a status meeting with one of my couples and I brought up the topic of the seating arrangements for their ceremony. They are getting married amongst some very large pine trees which will cause some obstacles for guests to see them exchanging their vows. So, we are going to get a little creative with the seating.

Many brides these days are opting for one venue for both the ceremony and reception skipping the traditional pews at the church or synagogue. This being the case, the seating arrangements can be another area to let your personality shine through. And not only do you have placement options, you have actual seating options as well. You can use traditional folding or chiavari chairs, benches, ottomans, hay bales, or pillows.  Or, have your guests to simply stand around you, it’s completely up to you. The seating choice should just match the look and feel of your wedding theme or style. Your aisle can be another area of interest… there is nothing that says it has to be a straight line.

Here are just a few options I found that should give you some good ideas and/or inspiration.
