15 Aug Jennifer & Jamie | The Club Wedding Birmingham Alabama
Now that Jennier & Jamie’s Birmingham wedding has been featured on Borrowed & Blue and I’m finally starting to get caught up with my ridiculous to-do list after a busy spring/summer wedding season, I can now officially feature it on my blog. Hallelujah!
Have you ever been around or gotten to work for people that you love hanging with so much that it doesn’t feel like work at all? Well, that’s how I feel about The Antonio family. When I first met with Jennifer and her mom, Jackie, I instantly fell in love with them both. These ladies have to be the happiest women on the planet and I have to sum most of that happiness up to the men in their lives. Jennifer’s daddy, JJ, is one of the kindest men I’ve ever met and he welcomed me immediately into the family fold. This really stood out to me because generally the FOB’s are usually very standoffish with me at first. Not JJ… I quickly became a part of Team Antonio. Then there’s Jennifer’s love, Jamie… to say he is in love with his bride is an understatement. Of course I get to witness grooms looking at their brides affectionately often, but the way Jamie looks at Jennifer… no words to describe it… she is one lucky girl!
There were so many special touches throughout this wedding with a TON of beautiful details. Many many hours of detail planning paid off with this beautiful day. A special shout out to the ladies at HotHouse Design Studio for all their attention to detail and careful preparations to tie everything together so beautifully. One of my favorite parts was the props used at both the church and reception entrances. Love when details flow consistently from one location to another!
A few more tidbits… Jennifer and Jamie are proud parents of Milo, their yellow German Shepherd (pictured below). What a sweet boy he was on wedding day. Also, checkout the photos of Jennifer’s daddy, JJ, up on stage with the band doing his rendition of “Blue Suede Shoes”. The band loved backing him up too. He really was great! The bridesmaids had a little surprise performance of their own. The night was topped off by a surprise fireworks show for Jennifer and Jamie courtesy of her parents. I absolutely loved the couple’s reaction to this. Jennifer was like a kid on Christmas Day!
You’ll also see a photo of yours truly sporting a lovely pink cast. I had unfortunately broken my ankle the month before but I was literally “*$!! on wheels” that day with my handy dandy knee roller. I actually wish I had one of those full time with two good ankles. I can seriously cover some ground on that thing and fast!
Enjoy all the loveliness to follow… thanks to Jerrod Brown Studios and check out the awesome video trailer by Main Street Productions.
