28 Jan Lindsey + Rich | Regions Field Wedding

Lindsey and Rich are seriously one of the coolest couples I have ever had the pleasure to work for. Their wedding was held at the beautiful Third Presbyterian Church downtown and then they celebrated the night away with family and friends at Regions Field.

Some of my favorite things from their wedding include the nods to Rich’s Polynesian heritage with accessories worn by him and his groomsmen, the his and hers ice cream spoons, the Polynesian scripture read by Rich’s father followed by the translation from Lindsey’s father, and of course Lindsey and Rich dressing in traditional Polynesian wedding attire and performing a dance for their guests. It was such a special day and a treat to work with this entire crew.

I hope you enjoy viewing their spectacular images by Kelli + Daniel Taylor Photography and you’ll also find some newlywed advice from Lindsey sprinkled in along the way. Oh and be sure to watch their video from LiveMore Weddings at the end. The letters they read to each other are so beautiful.

The most surprising thing I learned during planning was… how detailed weddings can be and the immense value in having a wedding planner to choreograph the day.

The most important thing to remember on your wedding day is… TO ENJOY IT! It’s the best day of your life and you don’t want to miss out on it by stressing out about little things.

My most useful day-of beauty trick was… to have my friend that curled my hair at the church to re-curl it a little bit after taking pictures outside (my wedding was during the summer and the humidity made my curls a little frizzy and flat outside).

If I could have done something differently, I would have… I really don’t know what I would have done differently. I loved our day! Maybe make the reception last a little longer, but only because it went by way too fast for us.

The best gift we received was… our beautiful custom kitchen table a close friend Shelvin made for us!

Our favorite memory from married life so far is… taking a trip to California and going to the beach 🙂

If marriage could be summed up in one word, it’d be… adventurous
