27 Mar Engaged Couple Spotlight – Jennifer & Jared

As a wedding planner, I feel so honored to assist couples through their wedding planning journey. The phone calls, the emails and the face to face interactions over several months really do make me emotionally attached to each and every one of my clients. I love that part of my job! By the time the wedding day arrives, I am genuinely delighted (and sometimes teary) watching them walk down the aisle and say their vows to each other. It almost feels like they are my little sisters and brothers.

Sometimes though, a couple comes along that I just fall in love with. Meet Jennifer and Jared. Every time we get together, we catch up, laugh a lot, oh, and take care of a little bit of planning details. It’s always a great time!

Jenn and Jared met a few years ago… wait for it… at a wedding! They were both in the wedding party and were paired up to walk together. After dating a couple of years, Jared took Jenn to New York City to vacation with his parents. One of their stops was a “must see” visit to the Empire State Building where Jared had big plans. Jenn told me she had no idea what was about to happen. She kept asking Jared for the camera to take a photo but he said his dad had it. Then, with his dad and camera in place, Jared went down on his knee and asked Jenn to marry him. Needless to say, Jenn’s irritation disappeared quickly. I just love their photos from on top of New York City!
