If you’ve had a chance to check out my “about” page, I’m sure by now you already know that I’m a huge horse person. I literally have been on a horse’s back since I was in diapers. So getting to handle a wedding out at Windwood Equestrian is a big homecoming for me. There is nothing like touching noses with a horse and smelling their breath. Ahem, sorry… I’ll get back to this wedding now.

Erin and Josh’s wedding was absolutely beautiful. I really didn’t have to work much on the inspiration for Erin because from the moment we met, she had just about everything she wanted to include in their wedding day already picked out. Erin was so organized throughout the entire process and Josh was one of the most present grooms I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He was able to make it to so many of our planning meetings despite his demanding military training schedule. I thought this day turned out to be so beautiful and can you believe, due to rain, this was plan b? I’m in love with all of the images below by Arden Photography as well as the gorgeous and emotionally-fuel film at end by The Film Poets. A couple of other fun things I adored from this wedding are the military name badge sewn into Erin’s dress, the wine that some of their friends made in honor of their day, Big AL peeking out of the wedding cake, and of course all the dips by Josh made with his lovely new bride… wait for it… 🙂
