I love passing along advice and tips from other wedding professionals especially when that advice makes a big difference on both the day of as well as in the captured memories such as your photography or videography.

Angela Deaver, of Main Street Productions, lends her vast experience with filming weddings in very insightful blog posts every week. Recently she posted about the cutting of the wedding cake and the importance of knowing how to cut it prior to the big day. You see, when the couple knows how to perform this tradition without the assistance of the catering staff or even the wedding planner, it makes for much more usable footage of the cake cutting that actually ends up in the final edited video.
