24 Aug Dallas & Caleb | Ross Bridge Wedding
Oh… My… Gosh y’all… It took me forever to go through Dallas and Caleb’s wedding photos to select all of my favorites and it was quite a task! We were blessed with a gorgeous May day at Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa and from the first application of makeup to the final moments of the night… I think you’ll see… this wedding was action packed and so full of love and joy. I love my job and all the couples I have the pleasure of working for (a lot) but weddings like this one make it so worth while for me. Caleb is so in love with his bride… I’m pretty sure you’ll notice that below. And Dallas is pretty smitten with her guy too! 😉 I also love it when I have a wedding party like theirs to work with. These folks were all there to celebrate Dallas and Caleb and it showed the entire weekend. All the planning sessions and getting to know this couple and their families over many months made me sad when it was all over. Many thanks to Kelli and Daniel of Kelli + Daniel Taylor Photography for capturing their day to perfection and to Clay of Clay Carroll Productions for their beautiful film!
I have to say one of my favorite moments of the day is the bride’s reveal to her father. Dallas is truly the apple of her daddy’s eye!Another one of my favs is of the reveal to the bridesmaids… oh, the squeals… so cute!
Oh this gorgeous gown and veil from The White Room… two words… simply stunning!
One of the most special things to me about Dallas and Caleb’s ceremony was the fact that his grandfather conducted the ceremony. To be able to have someone you admire and are close to guide you through your nuptials is such a blessing. This couple did a traditional unity ceremony but instead of sand they used glass beads. Afterwards the beads were sent back to Unity in Glass and then blown into a gorgeous glass sculpture that now resides in the couple’s home. Look for another blog post about that soon. I loved all the details we included on the table welcoming guests to the ceremony. There was a lovely tribute to Caleb’s father, the actual book that Caleb used to propose to Dallas, and several other nods to their shared love of literature. Signature drinks are fun, and in the south when the bride and groom hail from different SEC universities, of course you have to find away to properly represent! See I told you… they kind of like each other! 🙂 Love watching the connection fathers and daughters have. I know it’s a bitter sweet moment for these men!Caleb and his mom surprised the guests when they moved from a nice mother-son dance into a well-choreographed “shake your groove thang” number. They took it up a notch more when his brothers joined in on the fun. I love how Kelli and Daniel captured all the action here! Y’all if you’re looking for a high energy and I mean high energy dance band… then I strongly suggest you hire Az Izz. They were so interactive with the guests and really great to work with, not to mention they put on a fantastic show!
Check out this beautiful guitar… it’s a beauty don’t you think? Caleb thought so too when they caught his attention during a song with a fantastic guitar part. From there they proceeded to tell Caleb that it was his wedding gift from his beautiful bride. Needless to say, I think he was a little happy about it!Then to top it off, the band had him come up on stage and join them for a number. Everybody was so impressed and seeing this go down was priceless!
Love seeing a bride and groom take one last dance together alone in their reception space just before departure. You can tell Dallas and Caleb wanted to soak in every last moment.
