13 Aug Gift Ideas from the Groom to His Bride
Unlike her engagement ring, your personal gift to your bride on your wedding day doesn’t have to meet specific criteria. You don’t have to spend a lot of money; in fact, you can spend almost nothing at all. What is important with this gift is that it needs to reflect how you feel about your bride. Does she make you want to make a big gesture? Make one. Does she make you want to be a romantic poet? Write a poem. You get the idea, but here are some of my favorite ways to tell your bride, “You are the woman of my dreams.”
Something Sparkling
They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend, so you can’t go wrong with jewelry. Think about what would be most meaningful for her — a new set of earrings she’s been coveting, a lovely bracelet, or a watch with the back engraved with a special message. You could also surprise her with a subscription to Rocksbox, a service where she will get three new designer jewelry pieces every month.
Something Practical
Practical doesn’t mean boring! A gorgeous set of luggage is a perfect gift, and one that she can use right away on the honeymoon. Another beautiful yet practical gift is a handbag from a designer she loves.
Something Pampering
Pamper your bride with gifts that make her feel beautiful. Does she have a signature scent? Give her the most beautiful bottle of perfume, she’ll treasure it. A splurge-worthy pair of shoes — those designer ones she wants but would never buy for herself — are another perfect gift to make her feel gorgeous from her head to her feet. And my favorite gift for pampering, extra honeymoon splurges like massages. She’s spent so much time and effort planning your special day, reward her with the gift of relaxation.
Something Personal
Some of the best gifts a groom can give his bride are low cost or don’t cost a thing! Delight her with little gifts throughout the big day. These can be small things that mean something to the two of you. One of the most meaningful gifts are words from your heart. Send her a bundle of letters you’ve written to her. You can create a scrapbook with old love letters, poems, photos, and things like ticket stubs from your first date. I promise she will swoon.
Whatever gift you give your beloved bride, make sure it comes from the heart and celebrates your true romance!
