04 Dec Thank You Notes – Something Different!
Ahh… the dreaded thank you notes! Taking care of these gotta do’s doesn’t have to be done on boring generic stationery. Take a look at these fun vintage postcards from Nostalgic Imprints. Love, Love, Love these!!!
As for the actual writing of the notes, here’s a few tips…
When to write them?… Generally 6 to 8 weeks after your wedding is a good rule of thumb to follow, but my advice… send out a note as soon as you receive a gift to avoid having to spend an entire weekend writing them.
What to write?… Make sure you add something personal to your thank you. Don’t just write “Thank you for the stemware you gave us”, include something personal that includes them such as “Thank you for the lovely stemware. We are looking forward to having you over one evening to enjoy some great wine and to catch up!” Remember… your guests spend time and money getting the perfect gift for you, the least you can do is spend a few minutes penning a nice thank you.
What types of thank you notes are you “in love” with? I’d love to hear about them!
