We couldn’t have ordered up more perfect weather for Jackson and Tiffany’s wedding day… not too cold and not too hot… just right. For the ceremony, the Cathedral Church of the Advent in downtown Birmingham was chosen because it holds special meaning to Jackson and his family. It was where he went to school in his early years as well as his spiritual home growing up. To have your wedding ceremony in this beautiful church is nothing less than spectacular. The reception was held at Swann Lake Stables… another very beautiful locale. This venue was the perfect choice to blend rustic (Jackson’s preference) and elegance (Tiffany’s preference) for their post-nuptials celebration.

Some of my favorite things from Jackson and Tiffany’s day… of course I have to start with the custom gown Tiffany wore from Heidi Elnora. I also have to say I loved seeing the bond she formed with her gown stylist who was also an invited guest. And that veil… I’m always smitten with a cathedral length veil and Tiffany’s was all that and a bag of chips! Tiffany’s classic hand-tied bouquet of mini callas from Hot House Design Studio was another beauty I enjoyed all day, and the sweet little ornament favors I thought turned out so great as well. Other special touches on the day… loved the groom’s cake with a nod to his favorite past time, Tiffany’s gift to the groomsmen which they promptly opened and poured up to toast Jackson, and of course the fun birthday surprise (complete with hats) to one of the groomsmen… after all, it was his day too!
